The best plans are those that start around 12-15 months before you begin law school. Below, we’ve listed three different timelines for the application process. Keep in mind that many schools employ a rolling admission policy, meaning applying early may help your chances of being accepted.
June LSAT (The Early Start):

The December schedule isn’t recommended, but for those who choose this plan, it would be best to start working on the required documents before taking the LSAT and continue immediately after. The reason we have them listed during the months of January and February only is because of the fact that many find it difficult and distracting to prepare for the LSAT and also be spending time and energy on essays, letters of recommendation, etc.
